The 6th International Conference on Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Automation (IoTAIMA 2025) Concludes Successfully
The 6th International Conference on Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Automation (IoTAIMA 2025) was successfully held from August 22-24, 2025 in Hangzhou & Dalian, China. The conference was hosted by Dalian Jiaotong University and Hangzhou Dianzi University, organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Electrical Engineering of Dalian Jiaotong University, and supported by the University of Sydney. The conference aimed to promote international academic exchange and cooperation in the fields of IoT, artificial intelligence, and mechanical automation, focusing on cutting-edge technology development trends and facilitating deep integration of industry, academia, and research. The hybrid event (combining online and offline participation) attracted experts and scholars from multiple countries and regions including China, Australia, the UK, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Malaysia, and more.
The conference was opened by Professor Xiaofeng Li, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Dalian Jiaotong University, who served as the opening ceremony host. Professor Bingzhi Chen, President of Dalian Jiaotong University, delivered the opening speech, extending a warm welcome on behalf of the conference to all attending experts and scholars.
The conference featured 7 keynote speeches covering multiple frontier research areas such as AI modeling, intelligent sensing, robot control, intelligent manufacturing, and virtual testing. Experts from renowned domestic and international universities and enterprises, including the University of Alberta, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Lancaster University, Dalian University of Technology, CRRC Qiqihar Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., and Qizhong CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd., shared their latest research findings and practical experiences. Over 150 attendees, including distinguished guests, leaders, and representatives of experts and scholars from across the country, participated in the conference.

Following the keynote speeches, the oral presentation session commenced. Representatives from universities such as Nankai University, Wenzhou University, Shenyang University of Technology, Naval Aviation University, Liaoning Technical University, as well as from enterprises, delivered oral presentations, fostering a rich atmosphere of academic exchange.
Prior to the conclusion of the conference, Professor Ma Fujian, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Dalian Jiaotong University, presided over the award ceremony and closing session. Certificates were presented to winners of the Outstanding Paper Award, Best Oral Presentation Award, and Best Poster Award, followed by closing remarks.
